1) Several of the Coached indicated they would look at going the High Five Sport Workshop on September 29, 2012. Tony will confirm the time and the attendance with Kent Kuhn
2) The meet list was discussed with the group Randy and Eileen will prepare a list of the recommended meets for the swimmers now until Christmas by the end of the week
3) Fee schedule reviewed and approved for the new year with just $2.00 Swim Canada increase
4) The Meet Manager and Team Manager programs where discussed and will be upgraded to the latest versions
5) Discussed the $1500 grant the club received and the Carleton North Grant
6) There is a discussion about the issue with the Swim a thin receipts. Tony will call Pat Ketterling from swim NB and find out what the issue is. This needs to be resolved as soon as possible.
7) We discussed updating the record boards Randy and Tony will both get a quote on the updating without having to change the magnets it should be alot cheaper
8) It was decided that after registration that we will create and budget and determine how much find raising we need to do. We will add into the budget some coach travel expenses because of the split meets and a cost share with the civic center for the lane markers. Total cost is about $3600
9) The civic center has confirmed the new schedule for the Team and same as last year with the addition of the Sunday 3:30 to 5 PM and the Wednesday night 7 to 8:30 for the beginner group
10) registration is September 19th and I asked the parents to bring there completed forms and be signed up so we can do our planning
11) Tony will send out a list of the jobs available on the board with description of duties, the existing Board members , whether they plan on re offering. Election of officers will be September 27, 2012
12) New season will start September 27, 2012 all swimmers will come in for the meeting after registration on Sept 19 we will send out the new member instructions.
13) Discussed the high school swim Team Randy will poll the swimmers later this week to confirm interest
14) Randy will get a quote on the track suits from his supplier to determine if they are cheaper. We can show and sample to the parents.
15) We will do a presentation of the Sobeys and Esso fund raisers cards with the parents at the parent meeting September 27.
